Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Winnowill glances around the tent, holding his breath at the smell of stale air. In the candle light his amber eyes seemed to glimmer as he looks back to the old woman before slowly lowering himself into the cushion.
"Well, my story? I hope you like a lively one. I'm a traveling bard who journeys the land sharing my stories. I know many a lament and saga which I sing to those who will listen. Long I've lived though I am still young for my people and how lonely I have been. Maybe, just maybe, I will find something to ease the sorrow of my life."
