Roscoe was born in Siramenor, a single child to Zilyana Gilra and Arbane Rydel, two Elven travelers. Growing up she followed The Ichor Way, and had hobbies such as wood carving and painting which she would keep as she grew up. Roscoe would enjoy her time at home while her parents were gone, though she always wanted to go with them. Finally the time came, the first ship she sailed was with her parents when she was eleven years old, they stayed out at sea for the duration of three weeks, and she ended up becoming very good friends with the captain's son Elldrin. The two stayed friends for a long time, but Roscoe had caught feelings for him romantically, not knowing he had his eye on another girl. Both kept traveling with their families, until they were sixteen and Elldrin had confessed his feelings for a maiden from Haense who was studying in Sriramenor, and that he was going to ask her to marry him when they were older. Roscoe had been hurt, but only wished the best for him. When Elldrin had asked the girl to marry him she accepted, him and his fiance got married in the spring, Roscoe then decided that she was going to go away on her own for a little while, discussing it with her parents and getting their consent, she had left only a week after Elldrin’s wedding. Roscoe kept traveling and decided to make it her profession, only coming back once or twice. Now eighteen she has decided to travel further than she ever has before, staying mostly at sea and stopping in cities to study different religions, creatures, and plants, however after a bad accident with a fire flower she has decided to take a break from traveling. Her destination is now Sutica, and she has the hopes in finding a place to reside and perhaps some new friends.
“Hello! I come from Siramenor, i’m not really looking for wealth, and i don’t have any aspirations for elevation in society” I shrug. “but I’ve been traveling on my own for about a year, and occasionally I’ll look for somewhere to officially call my home, nothing is permanent though. Who knows, I might end up spending some more time out at sea.” I give a slight smile and breathe in. “I am a little bit overwhelmed though, I’ve never been in a city this big and i'm not familiar with the area. Do you think that you could tell me where I could find an armory?”
