Soren steps off the boat and looks around in slight awe at the sight before him. He sees sprawling colors of booths and people of various races all congregating around and having conversations. In the middle of his awe he feels a tap on his shoulder and turns to see a well dressed gentlemen smiling at him. "Welcome!" the man booms at him "What brings you to this lovely city of ours?" He questions innocently.
Soren pauses for a moment taking a breath and looking around him. He sees an elf walking with their child and has a brief glazed look in his eyes as he remembers his sister.
"Uh... I am here too..to-" he stutters briefly before taking a breath and quietly explaining, "I am here to start a new life for myself." he says as his eyes dart towards the floor as he realized he has nothing to his name.
The gentleman pauses studying Soren's expression before gleefully responding, "You are not the first and certainly not the last person who seeks a new beginning here, lucky for you we are accepting of anyone in this great city and would be glad to have you.!" He says still smiling.
Soren looks up at the man's face and offers a weak smile back unsure of what to do next. He looks around quickly resting his eyes on a booth that sells a strange fruit he had never seen before. He gives the man a curt nod before walking towards the booth and pulls out what little money he has and offers it for a taste. The bazaar keeper takes his money and hands him an unfamiliar red fruit which Soren cautiously takes a bite from. Immediately he tastes a warm juicy taste that softens his throat and gives him a refreshed feeling almost immediately.
'Maybe I can be completely fine here' he thought to himself as he looked around the sprawling wall. "Don't worry Kairi I will be home soon" he mutters softly before walking through the gates into his new life.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge obtained from sources that would not make sense to your character to influence dialogue or choices that you make in roleplay. An example of this would be if I were to see someone die in the chat from a different nation and then in character I would immediately comment on that action occurring saying "X person just died to X person" even though my character would have 0 idea this event across the world had even occurred.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is forcing a successful action in a scenario where it is extremely unlikely or forcing another player to be affected by your action no matter what. An example of this is I were in a duel with the worlds best swordsman and I said my first swing sliced off their arm, this would not be anywhere near possible for my character and even if my character was at equal skill I could not force the other person to lose a battle because I said so.
