Maehr Igne was born in 1603. Her ancestors are all pure High Elves, leading all the way back to Aegis in 1300. The year Maehr turned 45 years of age (5 years ago, as she turned 50 this year) her parents died while on a journey across the land because their food was poisoned by a enemy spy. Although she is a shy scholar, Maehr decided she would like to learn to be a warrior - feeling she would be able to stop more attacks and prevent grief. Now, Maehr spends her free-time in the library, and she has also began to practice her swordsmanship, although she is looking for a teacher.

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
