Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

He sits on the cushion and gives the old hag a respectful nod.
“I am a man who keeps faith on the paths I'm given and do my best to keep through with my promises; though i'll admit i'm just as faithful to a good wheel of cheese." He glances at the candles before continuing. “A few nights ago I dreamt of a spider—large, deep purple, almost glowing in the dark with a chaotic movement. It looked at me like it knew me.” He leans forward slightly. “I believe it may be a mythical creature… or something close to one... or even a god. Since that night, I’ve been searching for it.”
His eyes return to hers.
“So I came here. Tell me… have you heard of such a creature?"
