3rd of The First Seed, 1670, Giannai (GEE-UH-NYE) is born to her mother: Leiana (LAY-ANNA) and her father: Kuvara (COO-VAR-UH). Giannai was born under the Dominion of Malin into a lower class family with extremely young parents, both of her parents worked as servants until the her father ran off to work for the High Elves of Haelun'or during Suns Smile. After her fathers disappearance, her mother grew into a great depression and developed a mental dysphoria and passed away. The passing of her mother took a huge toll on Giannai which left her ignorant to her mothers passing. she hallucinates and still believes her mother is alive when she is not. At the age of 12, Giannai wandered far to find some food for herself and “her mother” when she ran into an old dwarven man (Who escaped to Fenn after crime) named Neece. Since then, Neece took Giannai under her wing. Neece tought her to read and write spells, poems, scripts. Along with that, Giannai abandoned her belief of Wyrvun, when Neece taught her the ways of the dwarven religion of Brathmordakin. Giannai kept herself occupied by learning to play instruments of many kinds, like flutes, harps, and whistles. they would play music and read stories for commoners. in 1688, when Giannai was 18, Neece was discovered by elven guards in the woods and killed. Since then, Giannai still thinks Neece will return home. in the meantime She strengthens her connection to the dwarven gods (In Secret) and practices her musical and writing skills, all while taking care of her “mother”.
