    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using knowledge which can only be obtained Out Of Character in an In Character setting. For example, it would be metagaming if i were to mention a fact about someone's character that I had learned OOC which my character could not possibly know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Exerting control over another player's character without their consent. For example, if I were to attempt to gravely injure or kill another player's character in an IC confrontation without giving them a chance to counteract.
