Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example:
They tilt their head slightly. Looking around in confusion if there was anybody else the old hag could be talking to. After finding nobody. They slightly begin to point there finger at themselves. "Me?" The voice sounds a bid werided out. Their face tells nothing but confusion and a slight bit of disgust. "I don't really think that I should tell you anything about myself" Was it the whole place that brougth them disgust or was it the old hag that somehow knew them? Nobody could really tell. However after a few moments of painful silence later and they finally sat down on the cushion.
It almost seemed like that they changed their mind.
"My story? I don't really have a story" They said after a while. Her face was still full of disgust but by now it should be clear that they didn't mind the hag. She was just werided out by her.
"I try to look for something... but it almost seems like it is not here" A slight sigh later they stood up. Looking around the tent, like they were looking for something here right now. But finding nothing, a bigger sigh left their mouth.
"Well... I guess it was nice?" They slightly began to turn away. And wihtout even letting the hag say anything else they seeningly just left the tent.
