Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Belwen looks around with a decisive gaze, keenly aware of her surroundings before looking back at the old hag. She doesn't recognise the woman but her familiar offering to sit strikes Belwen as trustworthy. She sits on the cushion, "I am called Belwen, daughter of Turthel. I've been sent a message from a good friend of mine, a Mountain Dwarf called Delnunir, to meet here. Many years ago I asked if he could recover a familial relic of mine that had been given to a dwarf who has long since died. The message stated he has been able to recover information about the relic. Have you heard of him?" She waits patiently with a calm gaze for the hag's response.
