Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Why, Hello" Xae replied.  He slowly sat down looking as the woman with caution. After some analyzing, he cleared his thoat and began to spill his life out. "I am of a Spiritualist background, and i come from the Ousanna clan." He paused for a second and then continued speaking. "I grew up in Celia'nor, my parents came as refugees after the collapse of Nor'Velyth".  "Even though there were a huge number of Maehr immigrants, it still felt lonely and like there was a lack of community, because there was, Nor'Velyth collapsed due to political and religious division between us, that division did not vanish when we moved to Celia'nor, people still were still their own beliefs and ideas on how are race should move forward, it left us fighting, segregated and hateful, and that is not to mention the segregation and discrimination we faced from the other elves." He looked at her trying to decode her thoughts and what she wanted him to say. "my parents were great though, they did the best they could given our situation. They raised me with strong ties to our culture and values, they never let me forget where we came from." He states with a light in his eyes. "They always dreamed of moving back with nature, back to the tribal times.... and when I was fifteen they left to find a cave to live in, they asked me to come of  course." He looked down at the table, looking for the words to continue his story. "I decided not to go, and I..... couldn't give you one definitive reason why, it was a spur of the moment decision, but its not one I regret, I guess I want more with my life, more connections, to see more of the world, a bigger purpose." He explains. "During the last three years, I strived for a purpose, Something to do with my life, working odd jobs for little pay, living alone at my parents house, I knew that i needed to get out of that city a explore the world" He confessed, his expression lifting like boulder was taken off his chest. "I'm also no fool, I know this world is a dangerous place, and unlike the majority of my people, I'm pretty bad at fighting like really bad, and I've heard you are able to teach magic or at least know something about teaching magic, and well.... that's why I'm here".
