    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: If I see someone powergaming, I would contact a moderator and send a screenshot and give a description of what exactly what was happening. I would then ignore them and continue to play as normal.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming involves using out-of-character knowledge to influence in-character decisions, which can disrupt fair roleplay by allowing players to gain unfair advantages or make unrealistic choices. When players use metagaming to gain information or insight that their characters wouldn't have, it can create an uneven playing field and undermine the immersion of the game world. Metagaming can also damage the trust between players and ruin the sense of community in a roleplaying game, as it goes against the spirit of fair play and respect for the game's rules and narrative.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I approach the cushion and sit down, feeling a mix of apprehension and curiosity. "You've been expecting me?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper. "How did you know I was coming?"
