    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you roleplay with information which you've aquired out of character or when you roleplay with information that your character shouldn't know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone roleplays in a manner which makes their character flawless, or extremely overpowered. Some examples are forcing emotes on other characters, or accomplishing unrealistic feats for your character, etc.

Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. You must show an understanding of quoted dialogue and exposition throughout the scenario.

 

Ares would glare at the man, approaching him and getting far too close for comfort, slightly annoyed by his presence. "I'm looking for someone." he would maintain a stern and serious face. "Have you heard of anybody named Karma? Supposedly, this person has red hair similar to mine," he would gesture towards his hair. "he's a dark elf, purple eyes, light gray skin, heard of him?"
