Aenwyn was born in a small port town in the Sohaerate of Haelun'or as the result of an affair between Ayda Balsalor and Folmon Miradan. Her mother was a weaver and her father was a wealthy merchant, and often stopped in the town for business reasons. Her parents established an intimate relationship, despite Folmon having a wife at home. After Aenwyn’s birth, the relationship between Ayda and Folmon dwindled. Folmon still visited whenever he was in town, but it was more often to see his daughter than his lover. Ayda and Folmon both doted on Aenwyn and did their best to ensure she was happy. She spent much of her early life as a carefree girl, content to spend her days among nature with friends. At a fairly young age, she learned about the Druidic Order. She was entranced with the idea of healing others and protecting the nature she had come to love. From that day on, she became set on the idea of one day joining the Druidic Order. Aenwyn migrated to Atlas with her mother, where they settled in in the Dominion of Malin.
When Aenwyn was seventy-eight, she met a wood elf hunter named Toros Presnan. The pair fell deeply in love and spent as much time as they could together. After twenty years of courting, Toros proposed and they made plans to be married. Soon after, Toros left on a big hunting trip. They were scheduled to only be gone for a couple of days, but those couple of days turned into a week, and then two. Finally, the hunting party returned after two and a half weeks. Aenwyn went to meet them, only to discover Toros was not with them. The other hunters revealed they had been attacked by an owlbear, and Toros had been killed. Aenwyn fell into despair and spent the next few years in mourning. Recently, she has decided to leave her family and strike out on her own in order to pursue her dreams of joining the Druidic Order.
