Quasar was born in the deserts of Seyam, into a mid-sized family. His upbringing was simple, frankly, not poor, even though his father Kasim raised him a farmer, as his grandfather had raised young Kasim. Kasim wasn’t exactly a simple farmer with a small plot of land anymore, instead owning a few large plots of land strectching around the banks of a vast oasis with a whole team of farmhands – of which Quasar had been one of for a large section of his childhood.
Kasim seemed to want to raise his son with the hardships of manual labor. “Hard work pays off”, and other topics like that often were part of the lectures Kasim liked to give. When Quasar was young, he saw those as sorry excuses his father used to employ his own son so he could save the salary of another farmhand. Now, though still somewhat believing his father still is a bit of a moral apostle, Quasar is overall thankful, also having made the “art” of farming and botany to his own profession.
His mother, Amare, employed as a maiden by House Shegida, tried to “force” common sense, the right values and especially discipline into a very chaotic, young Quasar. Latter hasn’t been much of a successful endevour, Amare likes to say. He is still a bit of a wildcard at times. Though loving, Amare has been a strict mother which wished for her children to become decent people. She was also the one responsible for teaching Quasar basic writing and mathematics, she has been thaught during her occupation in House Shegida. Maybe unrequired as a farmer, she left room for the possibility that Quasar may wish to aspire to something other than a farmer once.
Quasar has two brothers and one sister. Him and his brothers, Jafari and Okabe, could pass as twins. They spent the majority of their childhood together. Working together, learning together and being scolded for shaving their initial letters into sheep on the very same day their mother taught them the alphabet. Quasar believed he was the smart one, until being proved otherwise when his eldest brother went off to become a librarian.
His sister Sena was always anxious and trailed the three brothers on most of their pranks and idiotic plans, also being the one to tell them off to their (afterwards fuming) mother sometimes.
Not too long ago, Okabe, his younger brother decided to leave his homeland to become his own person and “find his way”. Quasar was the only brother left while his sister now followed her mother’s profession as a housemaiden while taking care of Kasim and Amare. His father and mother slowly becoming of age, he decided to follow the way of his brothers to travel out into the world.
He made it seem to his father and especially worried mother like he knows what his goals and aspirations are, though he is still somewhat unsure what his path in life will be. For now, learning about foreign soil and witnessing the agricultural methods of far away lands are a good start..

<Mustering the fancy attire of the somewhat nosey gentleman ahead Quasar gave a light frown for a second, having a hunch that he must be looking rather suspicious, being interrogated like this the moment he stepped of that boat.> “Murha.” <He started, giving a sufficient bow. Quasar descends into thought for a moment, then decides that he shouldn’t overshare especially towards strangers.> “I.. just arrived.” <Quasar gives a notion backwards towards the boat he arrived in.> “I am a farmer looking for foreign soil.” <His lips curl to a weak smile.>
