    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player uses real life knowledge (or out of character knowledge) when the character would have no way of knowing such things, for example a person who knows calculus roleplaying a child character with knowledge of how to do calculus and other mathematics however never having learned such in character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you force your character's actions upon another person's character, or if you make your character do something that they wouldn't be able to do. For example I would would make my character (a farfolk) sprout out wings and fly which my character cannot do. Or another example is my character is wrestling another person's character, without fail I would have my character out grapple them that is powergaming.
