Teal_Jarven

Teal was born in a far away Kingdom. It was ruled by a very cruel and violent King. Nobody was ever allowed to leave his realm. that's all Teal remembers from home. If he could even call it home. He also remembers that his parents made a sacrifice. They wanted their son to be able to live a good live far away from where he was born. So they took the challenge to smuggle him out of the Kingdom. Leaving or helping someone leave could be punished by death. Still they took the risk for their son. They put him in a coma. That way he could take on a long journey without going insane but he would most likely lose his memories. Hidden in a crate they  managed to get him onto the sea. Teal doesn't know what happened to them. They might be dead. At best just arrested. But Teal was free that's all that matters. He drifted over the waves for more than a week in hopes of one day reaching a safe haven. 

And that day came. he reached the shores of nothern Almaris. The wooden crate that protected him got stuck in the ice surrounding the nothern coasts. Teal was lucky to be found soon after. A Golem made of quartz on the search for it's lost master stumbled upon him. It brought the crate on land and broke the wood to see what's inside. The sudden torrent of icy air woke Teal up. He opened his eyes, still dizzy from the journey. He craweled out of the crate and was astonished at the view. He didn't realize his extreme hunger and thirst. He had never seen such vast and beautiful landscape before. But what was that huge creature made of stone? Teal fell back at the sight. But the Golem told him not to worry.

She introduced herself as Ophrea and said that she didn't want to harm him. She had some bread and water with her which she gave to Teal. He thanked her greatly and was so avid that he ate like a hog. They sat down and she asked him how he came here. So he told her all he remembered. As she asked him about his name he didn't resond... He had forgotten. Like so many other things. So Ophrea descided to give him a name herself: Teal! like the color of his clothes, eyes and the ice around them. Teal liked his new name and thanked Ophrea. But his thanks were the last thing she would hear as her power had run out.

Her master, a brave and proud Highlander had lived a long time ago. Even before the formation of the iron Accord. But one day she lost them in the heat of a battle. and so went on to search for them. But after years of search she now lost faith and  strengh. 

Ophrea was gone and Teal now alone in a new world had no choice but to move on. Ophrea had given him a name and so he wouldn't let her down and was determined to find out the fate of her master.

Now Teal remembers more of his past. He remembers that he used the wind chimes he carries to lead the blinded animals of his homeland and that they where given to him for luck. when they tinkle in the wind he feels warmth and thinks of his parents. He also remembers his real name: Zo'hal Jarven but he preferres Teal. So now he goes by the name of Teal Zo'hal Jarven.
