    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When a character has knowledge or things that shouldn't exist. "John found every weakness of a person." Its basically having ooc knowledge
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When your character has powers that wasnt earnt or didnt exist. "John attacked a monstar with bare hands twisting the monster's head with a finger." To avoid powergaming, the emote must be a could-be situration and can be stopped at any time.

Arktane Jason was a kid that only stayed in an empire called Holy Orienan Empire. Arktane got severely beaten up by his parents, soon abused. At the age of 12, he learnt how to become true to himself despite dangers across his life. The man learnt how to hunt outside of his city. A dark end moved in, his will became stronger while he aged. Arktane ran into a library, Orien had pretty good books, and ideals. Their city was beautiful. Arktane read the books about ancient history. As Arktane learnt about the religions and ancient history, he decided that all religions weren’t telling the truths. He learnt one thing, the only thing is that god existed and god helped create the entire universe itself. His parents were canonist, they believed that all religions were false and theirs was real. When his parents found out he was reading about other religions. His parents kicked him out at the age of 18. As he got kicked out, he decided to run away from the city and survive in the wild. He trained to become a strong soldier, a soldier that surpasses all, but fails. He couldn’t even fight a boar, let alone a soldier.

 

Arktane found another unlucky dark end, a darkness that inspired his journey. Arktane traveled to agnarum to find power. As he was gathering food and supplies for himself, a bunch of thief attacked him on the ground and assaulted him while trying to build a house. He ran away and tried to blend in the darkness. As he hid around the trees and climbing onto them, his entire body was covered in blood. He saw his house burn down. The house was burnt into charcoals and it took years to build. His will was so strong, that he ambushed the robbers one by one choking and slicing their throat. He killed two of the robbers and looted their bodies, but another robber from the shadows attacked him by sacking him with a sharp object that scratched his back. The robber tore his leg’s skin when Arktane tried to struggle out. The robber broke his left arm while trying to kill him. Arktane crawled towards one of the robbers to take a knife. The robber then jumped on him when Arktane got the knife, but Arktane pulled the robber into him with a knife in front which penetrated the robber’s mouth. Arktane tried to find bandages to fix his arms and explored into the wilderness soon finding the cloud temple, “God, I’ll follow your path, I will never settle!”

Physical Description: A bruised man with a hood on his face. His suit seemed to belong to a priest. It seemed like the man got assaulted and injured his leg and arm
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø  Your metagaming definition is correct in essence, however it is vague and lacking in detail. Please add more to this (Maybe an example too), and refer to our LOTC Metagaming wiki page for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize)

 

Ø  Your powergaming definition does not match the server’s definition of powergaming. Please refer to our wiki page on Powergaming for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize).

 

Ø You must include at least one server lore reference in your character biography (other than your character’s race or family, or one of the server’s maps). This lore reference could be something like the name of the city your character was born in or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Please fix this using the wikia and forums for examples to use.


Ø  It seems unlikely that your character would be able to single handedly defeat five opponents. Please edit this.

 

Ø  Christianity does not exist in the server lore. Please take this out. If you’re interested in using a religion from LotC’s setting, I’d recommend looking on the wiki. Currently, the most common human religion is canonism.

 

Ø Your skin’s face seems quite trolly for LotC’s standards. Please find another, more appropriate skin. The LoTC Skin Archive on the forum is there for use and for inspiration.

 

Ø Please be sure to make the character flaw in your character’s interesting facts and traits very clear.

 

You’re nearly there however there are a few changes that you must make to your application before you can be whitelisted. You have 24 hours to make the changes above. Once you’ve finished editing your application, shoot me a message here on the forums or through discord and I’ll take another look.

The definition of powergaming is basically having powers that you shouldn’t have like slicing someone’s head off or blowing up someone with a flick of a fingler.

For example, the only time powergaming isn’t really power gaming is if you’re like as strong as goku and if goku is going against yamcha. (if you watch dragon ball z or super)

Imma change the lore actually, i believe its bad too XD
