Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Thilde eyes the woman suspiciously but the look on his face is quickly replaced with surprised when they say that they've been waiting for him. He follows her directions and sits on the indicated cushion. "You've been expecting me?"
When no answer comes, he continues, "Well, I've been wandering around in search of something more to life than my small hometown." He pauses, seeming to think over his own words. Maybe that was too personal. "I'm here specifically to see if anyone here could use my help, but uh," he turns and looks toward the exit, remembering the image of a deserted and small town, "There doesn't seem to be that many people here. Unless, of course, you might need something from me?" He offers a smile that he hopes comes across as warm.
