My name is Aasim, and I was born during the year of 1790 in the middle of desert during the peak of summertime. My parents were nomadic travellers who met near a ruin they both had tracked down. I have no siblings so gaining citizenship in Al-Hadirah was pretty easy and inexpensive for us. Around my fifth birthday I was to be enrolled in the local education, but our village was alerted to a nearby Inferni Demon swarm and ordered to evacuate for our safety. I was instead homeschooled by my two parents on the journey to Almaris. I made many friends during my childhood and went on many adventures with my parents. At the age of 16 I was allowed to venture on my own a few with some friends I made to the location of some ruins we found outside the village. On this journey we ran into some trouble and had to escape quickly from traps set off by a member of our party. I tried to keep up but almost fell into a pit as the bridge out was collapsing. A friend of mine caught my hand, but then let go as the pillars supporting the ceiling began to crumble. I was cast into darkness for a full week before finding my way out the wreckage. Once I got home the village celebrated my return, having thought I had died out in the desert. From that day I have discarded the ability for others to easily gain my trust, but still hold onto my yearn for exploration and knowledge. At the age of 18 I was identified as an adult by my village and have been taught all our education system could teach. The elders told me that life was to be my Sayyid now, and that I should choose a profession within the village to be of use to our community.
Aasim looks the gentleman up and down and then replies,"I came in search of adventure, and to register with a nearby guild as an adventurer." He then proceeds to explore the city for a few hours, taking mental notes of the location of various highly populated locations, deeming them as important spots within the city. He continues to wander and just enjoy the scenery, this was a beautiful city indeed. After some time Aasim comes across the guild that he came searching for, 'The Twisted Vine' he read on a sign just outside the entryway. Just as he was about to enter an Orc stumbles out the door, almost tripping down the stairs, "Excuse me, do you need help?" Aasim exclaimed. "No, no I'm okay just had a few too many drinks this evening, see ya!" Replied the Orc as he continued on his way down the road. Aasim then looks up as the Orc's words finally hit him, it is evening time, he had indeed been exploring the city all day! He rushed into the guild, afraid that he would be too late to register.
