Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Though my eyes took a moment to adjust from the dim boggy air to the sudden warm orange glow of a candle I could tell someone was sitting there just on the edge of my clear vision. When she spoke, I gripped my sword, I couldn't quite get a bead on her; and I've seen elders try acting kind before. I took only a moment to hesitate before I released my blade, only a second longer before I would take my seat. She did seem kind enough. "My story? I'm a man, who started playing a fool, and in the process, I made an ACTUAL fool out of myself"
I admitted humbly as I gently grabbed the plain white mask upon my face.
"My only question for you, Ya got anything strong for an old fool?"
