Bogdan never knew his parents, he was dropped off in an orphanage in Belvitz. Growing up he was not a religious man, not at all. He ran with gangs and comitted sins like adultery, theft and even murder. He joined up in organized crime as a brute and asassin.
His gang moved with a stolen ship to Arcas because of the abundance of contracts in those new lands, they arrived in Helena and set up shop in a hideout just outside of the city.
He was once tasked by a noble to assasinate someone, no big deal. The only peculiar thing was that the noble offered alot of gold for a simple assasination.
Bogdan enters the domain of the target, he entered via the door which was suprisingly unlocked. There were people feasting in the hall, but he saw his target going upstairs. `A monk?` he said to himself as he saw his target. He was arguing with himself to not, but with the gold he could get out of crime. He walked up to the man, and he stabbed him in his bed, the monk said in his dying breath:`Canon shall find your heart ` , he then slips away.
Bogdan rushed down through the hall, he saw that it were beggars feasting of the food of the monk. No regrets, he ran to the den and received his payment.
Bogdan felt terrible guilt, he couldn't sleep for a whole month because of the visions he had: He saw a white robed man in the distance, coming closer each day. He didn't have a face, but he spoke to Bogdan:
'Hear my words, mortal. You have been found by Canon, as my servant told you while you mercilesly killed him and sent him unto me. You have to repent, devote your life to me and help others find Me in any way. You are a lost sheep found by his Sheperd'
Bogdan packed up his goods and bought a plot of land and building materials, he made a priory and started The Order of The Faceless One.
To this day he feels guilt for that murder
