Odric grew up on a rural farmstead away from the hustle and bustle of most towns and cities. Being an only child he grew content with playing and exploring the woods and plains surrounding his home by himself. He also grew a love for nature and the small animals that roamed about the land, giving him a sort of gentleness not expected of such a large man as he grew to be. As he and his mother had gone out to gather, his homestead was attacked by bandits, his father who fought against them was killed and his mother hid him in the woods before trying to assist his father, only to be killed then herself. mourning and salvaging what he could of his home he ventured out in search of his extended family and a place he could call home. He ventured for many many years and whilst drinking at a local tavern he overheard mention of his family name being tied with the land of Sutica. Now he sets forth once more in hope to this final time find those he longs to be with and care for, a place he could call home and protect from those who would seek to destroy it as they had done before.
Odric stepped off the boat, taking a deep breath and gritting his teeth as such a sprawling city made him slightly nervous. He almost didnt hear the man welcome him before taking a double take at him "Oh...Im sorry..I am new to town and I havnt quite got my bearings where I real am.." he would reach up scratching at the hairs that covered his chin "Im...just lookin for my way to sutica..if you could point me in that direction?" he gives a small, wary smile.
