A simple man born to an Innkeeper in the Knight's town in Renatus. Arentius is a pious and simple man who has a thrist for knowledge, despite this he never did find much joy in reading and instead tried practicing many different trades, many of which failed due to his lack of talent. His father always wanted him to be an innkeeper and Arentius aims to follow through with this. However the family owned in did not go to Arentius due to inheritance laws not favoring him as his father never wrote a will that stated that the inn would be given to Arentius.
When his father died Arentius tried to find work somewhere else in the town but with no luck. So he decided to pack his bags and leave, he traveled around but went in circles, never truly going that far.
This was mostly due to him finding a job as a bounty hunter and mercenary in different towns and hamlets aswell as several towns that he visited. The work never gave much but Arentius has managed to save up some money to fulfill his goal of walking in his father's footsteps.

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
