You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: Hahaha!!! "the dark elf laughs and looks tensely at the old hag's eyes" he says " no need for such meaningless questions old lady" the old hag didn't like what she heard and her facial gestures changed "Her sharp eyes, the color of stormy seas, widen with surprise" . Nonetheless "the dark elf goes on saying" his story is no extraordinary one, he has seen the good and bad throughout his days as much as anyone did, needless to say the hardships he has gone through might have scarred him more than he had expected, the old hag takes a closer look at the dark elf and notices the emptiness in his eyes and says ( those eyes of yours says it all ) that was the response given by the old hag to the words of someone that come close to emptiness .

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until… my oh my, it seems that no matter where he lays foot, troubles just keep finding him ( bunch of assasins) 

lets play a game shall we "the dark elf says with a huge smile on his face that says more than what the eyes sees"... the dark elf explains that if he manages to take one of the assassins before they can move a single foot they will call it a quit and retreat, as he was not in the mood for any movements that night  (The dark elf has been traveling for days without resting as if he is hunted by something and can't stop otherwise it will catch up to him) and also no one dies from your little friends group *the dark elf chuckles, a chuckle that somewhat mysteriously gives off the feeling of emptiness * well except for the one he is about to kill... (assassins right about to make their move) one of the assassins in the far back gets his head chopped and fly up just to land right in front of his friends that are in the front all of this while the Dark Elf hasn't moved a feet (the old hag and the other assassins are all standing there in awe)....
