Kairel was born to humble farmers in the Kingdom of Santegia and spent her formative years there up until her eighteenth birthday. Reluctantly her mother and father encouraged her to move out of their house and despite Kairel’s own displeasure she left her home. After moving out of her house Kairel went to several locations in an effort to find one suitable to be her home. The former farm girl decided to become a nomad, never satisfied completely with the given place she is in at a time. She may be intimidated by how big the world is, but she would never let that deter her. The young traveller hopes to one day find a place where she feels she belongs, but until that day comes she will continue to wander throughout the land.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
