    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Power-emoting is the over-exaggeration of a characters action in chat. For example: Player A strikes down Player B.

    Agnoth Sylric was born in Taliyna'maehr to Ariana Elervathar and Antylan Sylric. His father was a spy for the Ivae’fenn, which brought him to Taliyna’maehr. He met Ariana and immediately fell in love with her. He knew that he would have to hide his affair from everyone, so he decided it would be best not to have children.  When Ariana became pregnant, he decided that the child should be sent to live with humans. No Sylric child should be discovered as half high elf. Agnoth was sent to live with humans in Haense, and never knew his father. 4 years later, Ariana gave birth to twins who were also sent to live with Agnoth.  When the twins turned 20, Agnoth decided to send the older girl twin to find a job in Fenn to regain their snow elven status. Agnoth and the other twin plan to join Theryvnei once she finds a job and housing.

Physical Description: Agnoth is slight in figure, weighing 119 lbs. He has silvery blue hair and icy blue eyes. He stands 5’ 7” feet tall.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
