Dexios Bellot Halldor, formerly known as just Dexios Bellot was born to the Halldor family. However when he was very young, barely of the age of one he was kidnapped by a wretched old handmaiden named Grelda Bellot. She could never have kids of her own you see, so in her mind stealing a child seemed to be the only logical option. When Dexios was only 10 he was forced to provide for Grelda with her declining health, Dexios became a blacksmiths apprentice. One night, Dexios came home to his little hovel with his first weapon successful forged weapon, a flimsy iron sword. Gredla was not happy with Dexios bringing weapons home, to say the least. Alas Grelda knew how cruel she was, and knew how much Dexios loathed her. In a moment of panic in the fear Dexios would cut her throat in her sleep, she wrenched the blade from Dexios’s hands and thrust it into his leg. Dexios, at only 10 years old was forced to live with a limp and severe pain in his leg for the rest of his life. Through the years Dexios continued to pursue his dream of becoming a black smith, never daring to bring his work home. The year is now 1700 Dexios is 24 years old and still living in the city of Markev. Grelda fell ill and in her last hours in this land she confided in Dexios. Perhaps she felt guilty, but who can say a wicked old woman like that could ever feel guilt? She told him of his true family name. Halldor. Dexios has now discovered he has a brother, Nikolaus.  Dexios has taken back his family name now going by Dexios Bellot Halldor.
