    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when your character in a roleplay is aware of events that they shouldn't be aware of (for example, if you know something that your character in-game doesn't, your character must find it out for herself).
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you take control over the actions of another character (for example, if you say "Bob shoots Steve, killing him" that is not allowing Steve to have a say and perform their own action).

Remus Cotton is a Heartlander who lives in Renatus-Marna and serves as a soldier in the Royal State Army. Remus grew up in a small village known for its cotton industry (which is why many of its inhabitants have the surname of Cotton). When he was a child, a wildfire burned down much of his village and killed several inhabitants, including his own mother, Rosaline. Remus and his father travelled to the the capital city of Senntisten in seek of refuge. There, Remus and his father made a normal life for themselves working as craftsmen. As Remus grew older, he educated himself on other races and his country's relationships wth them. Through this education, Remus learned about many of the ongoing wars and made a decision to join the fight. Remus enlisted in the King's Renatian Artillery, or 1st Siege Battery, and works to defend his beloved land.

Physical Description: Remus Cotton is around 6 feet tall and has an average, almost muscular build from serving in the military. Remus has light brown hair & deep blue eyes
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
