Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"My deeds must have traveled further than anticipated.." she murmurs, grip on her spear tightening. She steps forward, audacity unwavering against the unknown. Mack kneeled opposite of the hag.
“My story is hardly of much worth. I left my home in search of bountiful mina but have found naught but scraps to send back to my family in Norland.. same as so many others. So I can’t afford to waste my time here, they depend on me.” Frustration welled on her face before she stood up from her kneeling position and took a step back from the crone. “Goodbye, Ma'am.”
