    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information that you've obtained out of character and using that information while in character. For example, one can see the name of a person talking, yet without the proper introductions you wouldn't know the person's name yet.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is essentially forcing your own actions onto another player character's response and actions without their permission to do so. An example of this can usually be found while fighting with another character, "I instantly slice their throats!"

Davey was born in the city of Carolustadt to a couple of cobblers. Though very kind and decent folk, they were gullible and often fell prey to those that could easily take advantage. As a result of this Davey quickly learned to be cynical and mistrustful of strangers. This however does not reflect upon his personal interactions with his family. Davey is capable of great compassion and empathy to those few who can breach his paranoid exterior. A hard working man who understands the virtues of diligence and temperance. Despite these attributes following in the family's cobbling business is something of a nightmare to him. Instead being inspired by the tales and ideals of the Imperial Renatian Legion, to the disapproval of his father. Gaining the courage to venture from home and join this exalted group is Davey's long term goal.

Physical Description: Davey is shorter than most, standing at five feet and four inches. A man with fair skin and sharp, rigid features.He has black hair with green eyes.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
