Torval put his hand between himself and the gentleman to keep him at a comfortable distance. “I’m just looking for the things I may need to open and maintain my smithy,” Torval replied quickly so as to not drag the conversation past the topic of interest. He quickly bid the gentleman adieu and continued on to the market.
