Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"I apoligize, I did not introduce myself to you yet." He straightens his posture and faces the older lady. "My name is Reynaerd, I'm from a place not that far from here." Reynaerd takes the closest thing to a seat and places it down for his own comfort "Though I do have to say that bad things do tend to follow me, you see, I was banished from the place I grew up." A slight chuckle escapes him. "I wasn't as beloved as I thought I was, apart of many scandals that people did not seem to like." He reaches into his pocket and holds a coin, he starts to play with it while he talks. "I stole, I cheated, you name it and I did it, but do not blame me." His eyes in one quick motion turn to the ground as he lets out a pretty well heard sigh. "It was my parents who had taught me this way, true charlatans you could call them. Stealing coin from the rich, but worse from the poor." Reynaerd puts the coin he was playing with back into his pocket. "What they did is develop a product and lie, convince even the most innocent soul that they had the remedy to their problems. They were obvious lies for the ones who could tell, yet they thought it was best to teach their first born child their wicked ways. I am ashamed." From his stare to the ground he looks up at the older lady once more. "I would do anything for a normal life." His posture has a sad and regretful feeling to it, one last sigh can be heard from him. "I am sorry, I cannot talk to you for any longer, my cairraige awaits me." Reynaerd fixes his posture before he walks out of the tent, without anyone noticing he grabs the nearest coin he can see and puts it in his pocket as he walks off, whistling.
