Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Larx breathes in deeply attempting to calm himself, thought it doesn't do much for him. He stalls his response far longer than he should just looking around the Hag's tent before finally stuttering out* A-ah, u-um... Larx is from a farm outside the realm run by a human named Pa where Larx worked and grew up. L-Larx help upkeep and manage tools and supplies, b-but Larx didn't really t-talk to others all that much. S-so now Larx is going out to explore t-the world. L-Larx doesn't know much except that he likes to stay away from physical work and likes to think and tinker. Larx does hope he can meet the people he grew up with on the farm, but Larx is pretty sure they even noticed Larx was there.
