    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the player obtains information outside of character and the character suddenly becomes aware of this information without learning in-game. If I were to gain information outside of LOTC and used that information to enhance my character without actually developing them in-game, that would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player creates an overpowered character or uses overpowered moves to unfairly defeat other players and obstacles. If I were in combat and used an attack to insta-kill someone that would be considered powergaming.

→ As for the Question you had: when you character dies you don't need to make a new one or are you banned! you have choice whether your character, after death goes back to the Cloud Temple where the monks revived them. but here your character has no memory of the events that killed them and you cannot return to where they were killed for another 30 irl min. You can choose however, that your character is pk'd (permanently killed), this is your choice.

do remember though there are cases where a staff member might pk your character (you don't have to worry much about this, it would have been done because of a specific reason)
