Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Intrigued by the request, Aeren sits down on the cushion with a lofted brow. One leg crosses over the other as they collect their thoughts. "Well, I have plenty of stories to tell." Their head tilts to the side ever so slightly. "But I suppose I could start with my family. We come from a forest, not far from Nevaehlen, and we worship Ohowaki." The wood elf gestures a hand about vaguely. "I set out from home to seek out knowledge. Speaking of, I am curious... Why were you expecting me?"
