Deep within the Norland Kingdom Rhei and her father, Vatric, resided in Thales where the winters were bitter like bites on your skin. The small family did what the could with the townsfolk in preparation for the dark winters night would bring. At a young age Rhei struggled to learn the bow at first, but the hunters quickly aided her aim making her who she is today. The people of Thales almost worshiped the ship they're kingdom brought which supplied them with whales big enough to feed everyone for months. Some people used the skin to make warmer clothing, or the fat for fire, but Vatric would make the best soups using the meat.
Once Rhei became of age to work the hunters immediately took her under wing with little troubles. She grew fond of her group but as she got older the world called to her. People would talk about how Rhei would sit and look at the sky for hours, but not many understood her crazed affection for travel. At the age of twenty Rhei begged Vatric to let her leave. She wanted to see the world, understand it, and venture out to find more interesting things. With a tender heart her father held her for what seemed like hours, and helped her prepare with the promise to come back.
After years of traveling Rhei comes upon a bright settlement called, Free City of Elysium..
