Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Mayuln eyes scour the inside of the dilapidated tent, Crimson eyes trying to dredge out secrets and stories from the suspended candles and other Knick knacks surrounding them. Mayuln never trusted an interaction at face value, always expecting there to be a underlying meaning behind everything. That's what his old home in Cauróst taught him. Velulite parents were already recluse and paranoid of others. Mayuln's family was no exception. This hag that seemed to know Mayuln didn't make him feel any safer in that regard. Mayuln shook his head at the hag's question, a chuckle of humor and maybe anxiety escaped his lips. "Well if you've been expecting me then I'm assured you know at least some of my story." Mayuln thought back to his departure from his home. His mother's hopeful and expecting smile bouncing against the ridges of his mind. She told Mayuln to go out into the world and make a name for himself. To find his own pathway amongst the stars in this world like his sibling before him. Mayuln waves his hand in the air. Trying to shake away the thought. "I come wondering looking for...a new start. Looking for someone to make that possible." Mayuln peers over his rose tinted glasses towards the hag. Clutching his hand over his heart. His father's cowl bunched between his fingers. "Now tell me, how do you know me?"
