Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

No foreigner to unpleasant environments Faron would enter without much hesitation doing as the old hag said, taking a seat on the cushion with a light thankful nod. An air of silence would fill the room for a moment as he'd try to collect himself before taking a deep breath, almost eager to speak with someone after being on the road alone for quite a while, saying in a low and tired tone saying "Well, I'm not entirely sure where to begin... Not much of a story and I'm not much of a story teller, spent a good amount of my youth making poor decisions, ended up landing me with a group a band of thieves. Took a liking to me and my "talents"." he'd give a soft chuckle "Those bein' of the thief variety if you hadn't already guessed, was a decent sneak, liar and quick with the slight of hand so we made a lot of coin together. Eventually found ourselves in some trouble with one of the merchants we'd been robbing so we ended up splitting up, go our separate ways and all. Each left on the run... Tried like hell to start fresh, but that was all time mostly spent in taverns and using my said dirty thieving talents to score more coin to keep myself in those taverns. I guess I decided it was time to try again, look for something new and well, now I'm here."
