Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, absoloutely!" Kyrrith gives the old hag a warm smile as he dusts off the cushion before awkwardly sitting down with the most polite posture. He looks around at this tattered tent eyeing the candles suspended in the air taking in the atmosphere. His curious mind drifts off in the thought of this mystical dimmed town and its people, catching himself in his indulgement of curiosity he lightly shakes his head before meeting the old hag's awaiting gaze. "Sorry, uhm..." he scratches the top of his head before he continues with, "Well, I was born in quite the upstanding family with loving parents. I spent most of my childhood delving in the pages of books of many kinds, exploring the vast world of knowledge." As Kyrrith tells the hag of his story, his eyes are lit up with excitement and his hands are flying around with enthusiasm. "As I grew older, my curiousity never withered. I still dream of becoming an established librarian one day!" After a short moment, his excitement fades, he looks down at a sapphire pendant around his neck. He grips the pendant close to his chest and looks up at the old hag with what was joyous eyes, now eyes of sorrow "though that alone is not the reason I'm here sitting across you. My dreams are put on wait, because uhm... A great sickness was bestowed upon my mother. I'm here on a search of a cure. I will look under every rock, search every nook and cranny till I find a means to make her well again."
Kyrrith's lips shivers in the attempt to not let his soft heart pour out to this old hag as he pleads "If you could give me even just a hint to what I should do, please bestow your knowledge upon me." In this tattered tent, at this very moment, may it be here Kyrrith's questions are finally answered? Or will it mark the beginning of a whole other story filled with uncertainty?
