Several centuries before the current age, Karethys was born to a relatively wealthy pair that would be her parents. In spite of wealth not making a large impact on one's social standing in contrast to their merits, the fact of the existence of their wealth allowed them to live relatively comfortably, and allow karethys to receive a matching upbringing. This promptly allowed her to be rather well-educated in the affairs of the world, once she had acquired the ability to speak, read, and understand. As she aged through the decades, living through the tumultuous time of High Elven history, she was more peacefully allowed to choose her desired crafts. 

 

Indeed, that which she had aspired to the magics that defined the High Elven race, as well as the advancement of rhetoric that would enable her a silver tongue. To this end, her ambitions then laid, and still lie with the tutoring of her person to advance her studying and understanding of the Arcane, and to enable her the continued ability to weave words together, like verbal, sharp poetry, and allow her to use both subtlety of speech and otherwise deliberate mannerisms to berate those she may come to oppose, and make others see her own way. It is thus in this scope that governance beyond Magic and mere speech may be within her scope of ambition.

Physical Description: Karethys is a malevolent looking High Elven woman. She has long, silvery-white hair, and a piercing crimson gaze. She tends to wear plain robes.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

It has appeared that I screwed up, as I thought my account for the forum would have been created along with the application. This also deprives me of the ability to edit parts of the application as time passes.
