Before stepping off of the boat Zakaria made sure his bag was firmly on his shoulders and that his guitar was clutched in his hands. For a brief few moments he stands frozen in place with his eyes screwed shut: a deep breath pulled into his lungs as his posture relaxed. After this he stepped from the boat onto the pier and walked further up towards the broader port, though before he could get so far he spotted the gentleman walking towards him. Once more he stopped except this time he drew his guitar closer to his chest; purely to have something between the two of them. As he spoke he swallowed lump in his throat, his foot began to tap and he glanced to the immediate area around him to check it was in fact himself this gentleman was talking to.
"I-I.. We-Well.. Music-... I-I-I want to pla-play music.." The words were a little forced to make up for the softness of his voice, and he made sure to avoid the gaze of this gentleman. He remained silent and instead only offered nods and shakes of his head to answer any further questions before he bowed his head to him when they were done. A final check of his surroundings were done before he continued up the docks and into the port.
