    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It is using infomation you know outside of the game; inside the game.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is performing an action or emote upon another player without giving them a choice.

Astral; A kind girl with a passion for nature. She had always felt an emotional tie to nature and all that lived within it. But just because she fights doesn't mean she never learnt how to love. Her parents had hugged her tight five years before and sent her off into the forest. Astral later returned home that to find the house destroyed and empty. She had cried for days, knowing not of the sacrifice her parents had made for her. After a month, Astral packed everything important to her, including her mothers' locket (a family picture hidden inside) and her fathers' bow. She left home to go deeper into the forest she felt safest. She soon learnt to fight and learnt that not all the world was evil. She became more outgoing, showing her true self to those around her; though remaining cautious of the orcs. Astral; a kind soul with high walls that are destined to be broken down.She is kind at heart but is often cautious. Her young father died protecting her and her mother only 3 years before the present time. She took this into account and learnt to fight. She protected her mother for as long as she could; until her mother married once again. This time to a cruel man who could offer them nothing but money. Astral took nothing but a sword, a sack of gold, and left to the forest to start a new life further into the forest, having felt an emotional tie to nature. She feels pride whenever she walks upon the roots of trees and the dirt of the ground, and feels out of place around High Elves and those of a distinguished manner- unless, of course, she knows then.

Character Age: 18
Physical Description: Shining Blue Eyes, Tan-Skin, Long brown hair, Freckles going across her knows and her cheeks, The tattoo of a magical looking tree her shoulder side.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Born in the City Of Caras Elder, Titania will always feel a sort of comfort in places like it, and will always remember the culture she learnt whilst living there.  Though not always obvious, Titania is determined to remember and be grateful towards the Aspectism religion she learnt so much of. Titania always considers herself different, unique. But in her heart, a smiling part of her reminds her each morning that she Is a wood elf; a Mali'ame. And her parents would have wanted her to keep to herself, no matter what was to become of them.

 

This is what I changed the history of the character to.

Hey,

 

I've read through your edit, though where it's nicely written and expands on your character, it still lacks the server lore I was looking for. Don't be worried though, you'll get another 24 hours to get it done & fixed. ^^

 

To clarify, this could be things such as your characters place of birth, an event, religion, or a culture your character celebrates. If you need any help with that, you can come to the New Player Discord I linked above, contact me via my personal discord tag, or just PM me on the forums.
