    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using something you've found OOC and using that information for your own gain IC. E.G. using info through a discord for rp, or listening through walls.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is not allowing someone to respond to your actions or emotes before doing another, which is not allowed, E.G. attacking once with a weapon, and then doing it again before it can be reacted to.

AqYou’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”

"Hello!" Caeda would respond swiftly. "To be completely honest, I came here to find adventure, and maybe my purpose in life. Back home, I just felt... I don't know, out of place." She looks at him. "All I know is that i'll live up to whatever purpose I'm given. I'm a large believer in fate- I'm excited for what it might have in store for me." She smirks, before walking away. "TIme to go start my adventure."
