Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Manius grimaces and waves his hand. "I have none, simply here to rest." He chooses to sit at the furthest and isolated corner of the tent. He isn't exactly used to talking or interacting with people. And it didn't help that the old hag acts mysteriously. Expecting him? Manius shook his head, the High Elves wouldn\t have noticed the disappearance. Surely. Right? He did not live a grand life, nor did he hold any great feats. He had ventured far from Haelun'or. He didn't particularly agree with the status or the beliefs of the High Elves. Manius from a young age didn't agree with the teachings, found himself questioning it in his mind why they show a dislike to other races. When he was 18, he took what he needed and simply slipped away from sight. He didn't like the trouble of confrontation. It took too much effort.
He has a bag and a single sword. He lived 6 years in the wild, travelling and painting as he does. He finds that being alone is less trouble than finding a group or another place to be. He was travelling and stopped by the dim town to rest. He will have to find out if there are some supplies he can get before embarking on another journey. It won't do good to linger, Manius frowns. He does not wish to form attachments.
