    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is the knowledge of outside sources. Ex. Knowing something out of roleplay and using it in roleplay even if your character has no idea about said situation.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is being overpowering in game or forcing the roleplay in a certain way. Ex. While fighting and you roleplay killing someone without letting that person react/decide the fate of their OWN character.

Merek is a loyal and hardworking man, one that sticks to what he believes in. Unlike the others of Haense who praise the life and sacrifice of soldiers, Merek doesn't believe in war or the lifestyle of a soldier, but he helps out with his source of labor. Merek provides numerous amounts of lumber and feels like he is meant to help others in the world. Merek found his drive for helping when he was younger, his father, who felt the same way as Merek today, always taught him a lesson out of every situation. Something was fueling inside Merek's head to continue helping his drive to be the best provider upon the land of Atlas. While Merek portrays a hardworking demeanor, deep down he is a nervous wreck. Merek is a follower and he knows he is. He always wanted to change that of himself, but for some reason, he can't. Merek wants to be able to stand up for what is right and be able to fight his own battles, but for some personal reason, he can't. Besides that, Merek is always there to help and will always be by your side to assist and guide you through your life on the land of Atlas.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
