Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Egon enters further into the tent, moving toward the cushion and sinking into it with a grunt. His gaze looks around the dingy tent, not of suspicion, but of curiosity until finally meeting that of the crones. Albeit look rather unapproachable and stoic, Egon offers a warm and gentle smile toward the crone.
"I apologize for disturbing you at this late hour, ma'am, though story isn't an interesting one. I am but a simple wanderer who offers labor for coin; to tell you of my story would just bore you into an early grave."
He looks about at the candles that illuminate this room before continuing.
"I am just passing through this town on my way toward the city to offer any lords my services in hopes of making something of myself, you wouldn't happen to be so kind as to point me in the direction; I seem to have gotten myself somewhat turned around in this swamp."
