Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
He slowly approches the cushion and inspects it before sitting down. "You really want to know hag? Fine then". He speaks firmly yet uncertain. He sighs before starting to tell his tale. He speaks almost in a whisper as he begins: "I... i'm G'Amar an outcast of my tribe. My people saw me as weak and pathetic, because i'm not as strong as my people.... They mocked me and made fun of my weakness", he stops for a moment. G'Amar shakes his head before he continues: "On one crucial nightfall my tribe got attacked by masked people... I was afraid and i took my axe and ran away out of fear". He looks at the axe with shame and disdain. "If i were just stronger and not so cowardly....i could have saved my tribe, despite the constant mockery from them" he says it with a clenching fist. After that he goes silent waiting for a response from the hag. But before the hag can say anything he resumes his story with a bitter tone: " Since then i wonderd these lands to find a new purpose. Hoping that i can change my fate and do something be it for the good or the worse". G'Amar says this with desperation and hopes that his destiny answers his frustration. After telling the Hag his story G'Amar sighs deeply and takes a moment to calm himself. It takes quiet a while before G'Amar calms down, but he turns to the hag and asks: "You needed some work to be done right hag? What do you need?" As he finishes his question he tries to sit sraight and listens to the words that the hag says.
