Allura grew up with her grandmother, Edith. She was a very happy child and always had a smile on her face. However, her life took a turn when her grandmother took notice of Allura's habit to easily forget. She was diagnosed with short-term memory loss. When Allura grew up and learned this she made it her goal to absorb as much information she could to not forget. She reads every minute she gets and because of this, the girl blocked out the social world. The only things she remembers about her identity are her name, grandmother, goal and condition. She moved away from Edith about six months ago, settled in Marina (originally from Riviä) and strives for new information around Atlas, not giving much thought to learning things like fighting, defense and making friends as well as possibly starting her own bakery, just like her grandmother.
Allura's condition has gotten better as she remembers the most important things in a current situation and/or things she has repeated to stick in her brain. She writes down notes in her notebook of things she has to do, has done and smaller goals she would like to teach, for example; Learning swordart or something of the offense-defense sort.
