    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Meta-gaming is the action of you knowing something and doing that action without your character knowing. For example, you are in a discord call and your friend says that they are at said town, that would be meta-gaming because my character in game wouldn't know that my friend was in that town.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Power-gaming is the action of making a role-play over powering, for example if you get into a fight, and you say "shoves him and kills him" that would be power-gaming because you would be making the role-play go farther than it should.

My character was born in a small village called Sutica, they lived there until they were about 15 years old with their parents 2 dogs, and 1 sister. He later moved to study abroad in a city called  Elvenesse. His life goal is to study medicine and eventually become a Medic/Doctor. He is a High elf. He has a good childhood friend named Phati, who he lost connection with during his time in Sutica. He hopes to find her one day, while off in his adventures. His parents were kind, and always pushed him to do his best in school. He has a loving sister, and will miss her dearly. He brought his favourite dog with him on his journey to remind him of home. He grew up in a nice home, it was small and humble but clean and loving, he had always been well feed an taken care of. My character is very excited to start his new life in Elvenesse.

Physical Description: My character has Green Eyes, gold hair, is lean 145 pounds, is 5'10, wears nice clothing.
Roleplay Scenario:

He takes a long look after the vicious boat trip to the city. After look at the gentleman's face. He talks toward him so that he can hear him "I've come here to learn more information about medicine and a to make a home after this long and tiring trip. I hope this city has many things to offer for my new life!" He smiles while holding his belongings.
