    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using things you've learned, but your character hasn't, in order to gain an advantage. Like if there's a person committing crimes, and there is an ongoing investigation in game, and you learn who it is outside of the game, then you can't use that info to call that person out once you get back on.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is disregarding the other players and rules to give yourself an advantage or have an outcome based on your desire, and not your characters. Effectively, disregarding what your character could actually do, or trying to force certain situations on other players, like saying that you shoot an arrow at someone and it lands right in their heart, instantly killing them, instead of saying that you attempt to shoot an arrow at their chest.
